Can I add Central Vacuum To My Existing Home?

Yes, adding a central vacuum to any home while being built, or already built is possible. There are a few requirements and adjustments that may need to be made, but these will be discussed while we complete the initial estimate. We will meet with you and explain your options so your central vacuum works just like you want. We work with a number of local home builders who insist on having this option added to all their homes. If you are building your home and your builder hasn’t offered this option, please contact us so we can reach out for you. Adding one of our central vacuums while your home is being built can save money over adding a system after the home is built.

A Healthier Home – Reduce Allergy and Asthma Symptoms

Installing a central vacuum system can improve your indoor air quality, and make your home more healthy for you and your family. This is especially important to those that suffer from respiratory or allergy ailments.

  • Did you know there can be more pollution in the air inside your home than the air outside industrial cities – according to the Environmental Protection Agency?
  • Did you know that most people spend an average of 90% of their time indoors where some pollutants are 2 to 5 times higher than typically outdoors?

A central vacuum system will help clean your home of debris and is actually one of the ways we can help you reduce airborne allergens in your home.

Our central vacuums are generally installed in the garage of a home here in Florida. This reduces noise in the home and allows the unit to exhaust in the garage. The unit does not release dust into your garage. When a traditional upright vacuum or canister vacuum is used indoors, the exhaust from the fan motor will agitate the air causing some particles to become airborne rather than be captured by the vacuum. Central vacuum systems can vastly improve your indoor air quality. As a result, they are highly recommended for allergy sufferers or people living with pets. Unlike traditional vacuums that often recirculate dust, a central vacuum removes 100% of contacted dirt, dust mites, dust mite eggs, pollen, pet dander and other allergens. So you can breathe deeply.

Superior Deep Cleaning Power

Since the deep cleaning action of central vacuum systems is incredibly powerful (up to 5x stronger than traditional vacuums), very fine dust and particles are removed. Upright and canister vacuums need to be lightweight in order to be easily handled by a homeowner. Keeping the unit light weight limits the size of the motor and cleaning power. A central vacuum has no limit as the motor is permanently mounted and does not need moved. A lightweight hose and attachment is all the homeowner needs to move.

Live Comfortably with Pets – Relief for Pet Owners

Did you know that 10% of American pet owners are allergic to their pet – according to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology? Pets can trigger sneezing, watery eyes, runny noses, and many more allergic reactions.

Many allergy physicians and environmental organizations, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), recommend central vacuum systems for living comfortably with indoor pets. Since central vacuum systems do not exhaust air into your home, they do not stir pet dander and other allergens.

Convenience, Versatility & Peace

With a central vacuum system, you won’t need to haul a heavy vacuum through your house. Your central vacuum power brush can be inserted into any wall inlet location you choose. Highly versatile, central vacuums come with a wide range of attachments and accessories. The hose self retracts into your walls eliminating the need to carry hoses around. Stop into our showroom for a demonstration of our Hide-a-Hose system.

With your central vacuum motor located away from your living area, you’ll hear only the quiet rush of airflow. Vacuum whenever you want without disturbing anyone.
